Golden State International Wushu Championships & USAWkF National Kungfu Team Trials
The Golden State International Wushu Championships & USAWKF National Kungfu Team Trials are hosted by the Taiji Science Foundation (WTSF), sponsored by KungFuDirect.com, and sanctioned by the United States of America Wushu-Kungfu Federation, Inc. (USAWKF). The competition started in the year 2009 and has since hosted large-scale international tournaments such as the U.S. National Wushu Team Trials, National and International Championships, as well as the Pan American Wushu Championships, among others. The competition is held both in-person and virtually (online), welcoming participants from all over the world who are enthusiasts of Taiji, Kungfu, Wushu, and Health Qigong. WTSF has received an invitation to recruit an international Taiji science delegation to take part in the International Taiji Health Forum, which will be hosted by Harvard University.
The two-day event is scheduled to take place on September 18-19, 2023. The focus of the first annual conference on Tai Chi and Qigong as Whole Person Health is to “Advance the Integration of Mind-Body Practices in Contemporary Healthcare.” The conference aims to attract a diverse group of international scholars, practitioners, healthcare administrators, and policymakers. It plans to address not only the current evidence base for Tai Chi, Qigong, and related practices but also to explore topics integral to their expanding and emerging roles in whole person health at a national and international level. The conference intends the dialogue among various mind-body disciplines and movement-based practices.
3rd International Taiji Science Forum & World Taiji Masters Exhibition
This event, founded in 2021, is a large-scale international forum hosted by the “World Taiji Science Federation (WTSF).” It has been co-hosted by prestigious institutions such as the University of Illinois-Champaign, Five Branches University, Hangzhou Normal University, Inner Mongolia Normal University, and World Taijiquan Website. Distinguished guests, including members of the International Olympic Committee, US Congress members, academicians from renowned colleges and universities worldwide, 9th Dan Chinese martial arts grandmasters, Taiji inheritors from various genres, and world Taijiquan champions.
