Bryant Fong is the Chief Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, responsible for martial arts and Taiji. He recently retired from City College of San Francisco, where he taught in the Department of Health Sciences for 25 years. Master Fong is a disciple of Master Zhao Dayuan, a Beijing Baguazhang Grandmaster, and Master Feng Zhiqiang, a Beijing Grandmaster. He is a graduate of the San Francisco Jing Mo Athletic Association, a fifth-generation disciple of Fu-style Baguazhang, and holds coaching certification in the United States. He trained with the Beijing Wushu Team and has performed and taught martial arts across the United States. In 1991, Bryant Fong became the coach of the U.S. National Wushu Team and currently serves as the coach and team leader of the World University Games University Wushu Team. Teacher Bryant Fong graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in Social Sciences.
