Bai Jinxiang is a second-level professor, researcher, Ph.D. in management, doctoral supervisor, member of the National Higher Education Physical Education Teaching Guidance Committee, expert evaluator for National Social Science Fund projects, recipient of the Special Government Allowance from the State Council, selected as a high-contributing scholar in China (2022, 2023), a national-level candidate for the “Millions of Talents Project” in the New Century, and supported by the Ministry of Education’s “New Century Excellent Talents Support Program.” He serves as the editor-in-chief of the “Journal of Jishou University (Social Sciences)” (CSSCI source journal), the head of the doctoral program in the first-level discipline of sports science, the leader of a national teaching team, and the leader of national first-class majors and first-class courses.

He has been engaged in the research of ethnic traditional sports for a long time, presiding over five National Social Science Fund projects (including major, key, general, and youth projects). He has authored works such as “A Record of Ancient Chinese Sports Events: Minority Ethnic Groups” and has published 77 academic papers, including 10 in “Sports Science,” 4 of which have been fully reprinted by “Xinhua Digest.” He has received two second-class National Teaching Achievement Awards (one as the project leader) and five first-class provincial and ministerial-level awards for outstanding achievements in social sciences.

白晋湘  二级教授、研究员、管理学博士、博士生导师，教育部全国高校体育教学指导委员会委员，国家社科基金课题会评专家，享受国务院特殊津贴专家，入选中国高贡献学者（2022、2023）、“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选、教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。《吉首大学学报（社会科学版)》（CSSCI来源期刊）主编，体育学一级学科博士点负责人，国家教学团队带头人，国家一流专业、一流课程负责人。

长期从事民族传统体育研究，主持国家社科基金重大、重点、一般和青年课题5项；著有《中国古代体育项目志·少数民族部分》等著作；发表学术论文77篇，其中《体育科学》10篇，被《新华文摘》全文转载4篇；获国家教学成果奖二等奖2项（主持1项），省部级优秀社科成果一等奖5项。
