The 1st International Taiji Science Online Forum and World Intangible Cultural Heritage Taiji Masters Exhibition” was a complete success!

This event was hosted by the “Taiji Science Federation” and is a large-scale international forum co-hosted by the “University of Illinois-Champagne”, “Hangzhou Normal University” and “World Taijiquan Website”. Distinguished guests such as members of the International Olympic Committee, deans and academicians of internationally renowned colleges and universities, five Chinese 9th Duan martial arts grandmasters, inheritors of Taiji from various genres, and Taiji world champions was presented together. Lecturers and performance guests came from 32 well-known universities in 20 countries and regions that include China, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, etc. With nearly a hundred experts, scholars, and Taiji intangible cultural heritage inheritors’ participation, it is a major event in the field of International Taiji science.

She is the first female singles badminton player in the history of world badminton to win gold medals in the finals of World Championships, World Cup, All England, and Grand Prix.

She placed the expectation of “making effective use of modern science and technology, deeply understanding and analyzing the health promotion role of Taijiquan, so as to better serve the global people” at the conference from the strategic height of the global development of Taijiquan.

Dean Woytek jozko zaiko made a systematic analysis of the health and fitness value of Taijiquan from the basis of the traditional theory of Taijiquan to the specific movement forms and skill characteristics, combined with modern scientific indicators and language expression forms. He is convinced that through the discussion of this forum, we will have a new understanding of the health and fitness value of Taijiquan. He is also convinced that people all over the world will experience peace and harmony in the process of practicing Taijiquan and Qigong.

The 首届国际太极科学网络论坛&世界太极拳非物质文化遗产传承人展演。 相关活动原定于2021年9月20日举行,经组委会研究决定延期至2021年12月1-5日,和庆祝联合国教科文组织将太极拳收录世界非物质文化遗产名录一周年系列活动一起举行。并发起确定了12月的第一个星期六作为首个“世界太极科学日” 也是世界太极拳非遗纪念日,并每年固定举行。

In order to celebrate the UNESCO’s official inclusion of Taijiquan in the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List on December 17, 2020, the Taiji Science Federation (WTJSF) funded an annual event “World Taiji Science Day” on the first Saturday and will host the “International Science Forum and World Intangible Cultural Heritage Taijiquan Masters Exhibition” in the first week of December.  The “1st International Taiji Science Forum and World Intangible Cultural Heritage Taijiquan Masters Exhibition” (Online Event) will be hosted by University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, Hangzhou Normal University, and the World Taijiquan Website in this December.

2021年国际太极功夫网络大赛 “网络武术人气奖”评选结果

热烈庆祝! 2021年国际太极功夫网络大赛 “网络武术人气奖”评选顺利结束! “网络武术人气奖”的目的是:分享快乐:祝贺运动员刻苦训练,取得优异成绩;增进交流:强化武术社区、家庭、友人交流互动 和 习武强身:共享武术文化,投身习武强身运动。 这是组委会首次在国际范围的网上武术社区互动的尝试,900多名各国参赛运动员均可参加,网络投票反响热烈,特别是疫情环境下,这次武术网络活动增进了人们的交流,互动,健康和友谊! 网络投票排名前30名的运动员中,大会组委会参考了网络投票和项目类别等因素,评选出了以下参赛运动员获得本次活动的“网络武术人气奖”,他们分别是: 陈美英 (马来西亚) 在太极拳项目中得132263票; Karim Ait Zerrouk (阿尔及利亚)在太极器械项目中得8410票; Li-Chieh Wang (美国)在传统拳术项目中得 115315票; Eugene Ho (美国) 在传统武术器械中得91620;Randolph Liao (美国) 在现代武术器械中得89309票名。 现代武术拳术项目因没有运动员在网络投票的前30名。所以没有评选。


2021年7月8日

包括美国、中国、中国香港、巴西、墨西哥、乌拉圭、阿尔及利亚、百慕达、新西兰、厄瓜多尔、西班牙、比利时、加拿大、法国、英国、德国、埃及、新加坡、马来西亚、西班牙、澳大利亚、日本等22个国家和地区的62个参赛队953名运动员报名参加这一网络武术盛会。

International Wushu Teams including the United States, China, Hong Kong, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Algeria, Bermuda, New Zealand, Ecuador, Spain, Belgium, Canada, France, Britain, Germany, Egypt, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Australia 953 athletes from 62 teams from 22 countries and regions such as Japan signed up to participate in this online martial arts event.
