Professor Yang Huixin, female, born in February 1976, has got doctor of philosophy in traditional Chinese sport and has finished research works in the post-doctoral period in traditional Chinese medicine in Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. Professor Yang has been awarded the title of professor and doctoral supervisor and she also has been granted wushu technical rank 6 and health qigong technical rank 7. She is not only a health qigong national referee, but also the backbone member of ‘Elite Team’ of health qigong management center in the National Sports Bureau of China.
She is the dean of the traditional ethnic sports college, Haerbin Sports University. She works with the academic leaders of traditional Chinese sports including wushu theory and methods. She is also a committee member of the Heilongjiang Province Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Sociology of Sports of Heilongjiang Province Sports Science Association and Heilongjiang Province Wushu Association. She is also vice-chairman of Harbin Health Qigong Association.
During her academic career, she has presided over 5 ministry-level and 6 bureau-level research projects and participated 2 national and 8 provincial research projects. She has published 40 academic papers, 16 of which are published in SSCI, SCI, CSSCI and CSCD journals. She has attended, hosted and lectured at many academic meetings in China and abroad.
