Jun Yang, the sixth-generation grandson of Luchan Yang, the founder of Yang Style Taijiquan, was originally from Damingfu, Guangfu County, Yongnian Town, Hebei Province. He started to practice Yang Family Taijiquan under the guidance of his grandfather Zhenduo Yang since he was a child, and started teaching around the world with his grandfather when he was a teenager. He has won the true inheritance of family skills and is the heir of Zhenduo Yang.
In 1998, the International Yang Style Tai Chi Association was founded in Seattle, USA. After more than 20 years of unremitting efforts, the International Yang Style Tai Chi Association has always been used as a channel for cultural exchanges to build the International Yang Style Tai Chi Association into a popularization and improvement of practitioners and coaches. It is a rigorous international Tai Chi organization that has established technical standards, coach ratings and certification.
In 2009, 2014 and 2019, three International Tai Chi Forums were successfully held in Nashville, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, and Servino, Italy. Chen, Yang, Wu, Wu, Sun Ge, representative inheritors of the main genres of Taijiquan and more than 80 Western scientists participated in the teaching exchange activities of the conference. More than a thousand Tai Chi enthusiasts from more than 20 countries around the world enjoyed a gluttonous feast of Tai Chi culture.
