Dr. Jianxiang Tan studied at Hunan Normal University and Shanghai Sport University, and obtained a bachelor, master and doctorate degree in education. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of South China Normal University, director and chief researcher of the Operation Management Research Center of China Sports Stadium Association, executive deputy director of the Social Science Key Research Base of the State Sports General Administration, and deputy director of the National Fitness and Health Research Center. Appointed part-time member of the Academic Committee of the Sports Industry Research Center of Tsinghua University, part-time professor of Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, Shanghai Sports University, and visiting professor of Tianjin Institute of Physical Education and other institutions. Professor Jianxiang Tan has been engaged in university physical education for 40 years and engaged in sports management and sports industry research for more than 30 years. Undertakes 3 National Philosophy and Social Science Fund projects, 15 major and general topics of the National Sports Bureau of China.
He edited “Introduction to Sports Brokerage”, “Introduction to Stadium Operation Management”, “Sports Marketing”, “Social Sports Management”, “Compendium of International Standard Stadium Facilities” and other textbooks and monographs. He has published more than 60 papers in core journals such as “China Soft Science” and “Sports Science”. He has attended the 1992-2016 Olympic Science Conferences to report papers successively, and has given thematic main reports on several Asian Games Science Conferences and China Sports Science Conferences. He has successively won two first prizes, two second prizes, and four third prizes in the Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award and Excellent Teaching Achievement Award of the National Sports Bureau of China.
